Almost every day, I eat eggs for breakfast but I cannot eat the same form of an egg every day. At the same time, I wanted to make eggs in less than 10 mins for the busy weekdays mornings. As I was making a plain omelet, I was thinking about how I can include more healthy fat so it keeps me full for good two to three hours. So I added cheese and avocado on the top of the omelet and roll that I can even eat on the go. I use cheddar cheese as I like it its salty and I don’t add any salt to my omelet but you can add whatever cheese you like as per your preference.
Now let’s get into the recipe how to do this quick, healthy, filling egg omelet.
Ingredients:
- Brown Eggs- 2
- Cheddar cheese – 1 Table Spoon
- Avocado- half avocado if you are using slices or 2 Table Spoon if mashed
- Salt
- Pepper
Steps:
- Heat a cast-iron pan on the stove in medium flame.
- Beat two eggs withsalt and pepper.3. Once the pan is hot, pour egg mixture in the pan and swirl around to make a thin layer.
- Cover it with lid and cook for 1-2 mins.
- When the egg is cooked now add cheese on the top.
- As the cheese starts to melt, now place the avocado on top.
- Flip one side of the egg into half and flip the other side on top.
Now enjoy the egg with salsa or as it is!!
