French Toast

Whenever I have sugar cravings, one of my go-to options is French Toast. The reason is its filling with protein and carb along with a little bit of sugar which completely satisfies my sugar cravings. I remember that my mom used to make me french toast when I come home from school as it makes a perfect evening snack. It requires only a few ingredients and very quick to make.

Ingredients:

  • Organic Bread ( Wholewheat or Multigrain)  – 2
  • Cinnamon powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Butter- 1 teaspoon

Steps:

  1. In a wide bowl beat the eggs.
  2. Add Cinnamon powder, sugar and mix it well.
  3. Heat cast iron pan.
  4. Dip Bread in egg mixture on both sides and all the edges.
  5. When the pan is hot, add the bread slices.
  6. After a minute on medium flame, flip over and let it cook on the other side.
  7. Spread the butter on top of the bread.
